INHR's CDD is an interdisciplinary series of workshops discussing how the U.S. and China can collaborate to fight fentanyl. It produced a resource guide to policy, law enforcement, private sector cooperation and public health approaches for combatting the supply and demand for fentanyl and other synthetic opioids.
U.S.-China conflict has the potential to raise the largest risks to peace in our time, whether over Taiwan, the Korean Peninsula, or global trade. INHR brings U.S. and Chinese experts together to maintain dialogue and find solutions, regardless of the status of official relationships. Talks are confidential, but we are always seekng new partners in both countries to promote peace.
When official relationships are difficult, Track II discussions between experts and former officials can help to maintin dialogue pathways. We specialize in identifying influential experts who know how to solve problems, putting them together in a format conducive to recommendations and new outcomes, and delivering our ideas to government officials in capitals.
The U.S. and China are two key delegations in our dialogue to mitigate the risks of AI weapons and combat existential threats from emerging technologies. Legal, technical, industry, military, academic and diplomatic experts from the U.S., China, Europe, India and elsewhere cooperate to address these threats and have produced outcomes governments take on board.
